The Job

Very much an 'in-house' project — I (Lucy) am now in the 3rd year of writing this blog as a guide to holidays and traveling to Australia.

The scope of the blog has grown over time — adding categories and information pages that I've wanted to cover and have been asked to write about. Designed on a customised WordPress template (thanks Andy), it shows how you can turn a simple 'blog' into a website that can generate a lot of traffic, and achieve great search engine rankings.

Still keeping essentially to a 'blog' style, we've also added extra pages and features to add value to the site. There's an email sign-up and free guide to download and the option to 'Ask me a question'.

We're constantly evolving the site and upgrading it, so it helps to keep us on our toes with what's possible with WordPress (as well as letting me live out my travel writer fantasies!).
