The Job

The British Boot Company, famous world wide for its London store in Camden supplying pop stars and other boot fans for decades, made the decision to upgrade their online store to Powa ecommerce.

The British Boot Company chose the Powa Instant Salesware ecommerce system because it gave them all the 'back end' catalogue, stock and online shop functionality they were looking for in an easy to use and very reasonably priced package. But they also realise it came with some design limitations.

Capturing the essence of their Camden store

To get their online store design in line with their plans, Powa recommended us as design partners to re-style the homepage and add other design touches across the site.

With a brief to capture the essence of the Camden store with the practicalities of online shopping, we worked with the templates supplied by Powa on this project — designing a custom homepage and styled content page banners across the site (a Bronze design package). We also added a Flash-style gallery to the homepage to showcase the top lines for sale.

The result is an affordable custom finish to an off-the-shelf ecommerce package from Powa.
